The K-Cafe is right up there as one of my favorite Keurig capsule coffee machines.

After spending many hours researching the Keurig range and watching YouTube videos, I have to say, the K-Café stands out among the Keurig range of capsule coffee makers.
This is a versatile machine without being too bulky. It covers the basics in capsule coffee machines, and although it doesn't have a carafe option, it does have some great features.

4 Cup sizes for regular Coffee, Cappuccino & Latte Brewing
The K-Cafe has a lot going for it. It has 4 cup sizes to choose from - 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounce.
An attractive thing about the K Cafe is that you can use K-Cup pod to brew a regular coffee, and use the milk frother to make delicious lattes and fluffy cappuccinos. The milk frother is dishwasher safe, so clean up afterwards is easy.
Milk Frother
The Milk Frother is dishwasher safe and froth fresh milk, including skim, soy, and almond. The frother also has a COLD setting for cold frothed milk.
Cleaning the Frother
Keeping the milk frother clean is easy. This can be done either by hand in warm soapy water, or in the top rack of the dishwasher. The frother and lid go on the top rack of a dishwasher and the whisk can be placed in the utensils basket.
If washing by hand, make sure you use only non-abrasive cleaning materials as you don't want to damage the inner surface of the frother. Dry all parts thoroughly using a soft, nonabrasive cloth, and then reassemble.
Shot Button & Stronger Brew Button
Press the SHOT button to brew a concentrated shot of coffee to make delicious hot or iced lattes and cappuccinos.
For a bolder coffee, press the STRONG button. Using the Strong Brew button increases your coffee strength and intensity.
Energy Saving - Auto Off
As an Energy Saving feature, the Auto-Off feature turns your coffee maker off 2 hours after last brew.
Descale Alerts
The coffee maker will alert you when it's time to descale. Descaling is an important process that removes built-up calcium deposits, making sure the machine runs efficiently and ensuring you continue to get the best-tasting brew possible.
Travel Mug Friendly
The K-Cafe will accommodate a travel mug up to 7.2 inches tall with its drip tray removed. The drip tray is also dishwasher safe in the top rack.

K Cafe Special Edition Capsule Coffee Maker
Keurig have released a special edition K-Cafe. This has all the same features and dimensions as the black K Cafe but is finished in a premium nickel color, with a metal handle and drip tray.
As it's a Special Edition, it also costs more than the standard black K Cafe but the nickel finish will suit a wider range of kitchen styles.

General Care & Maintenance of your K-Cafe Coffee Maker
Any appliance will last longer with some regular care and maintenance. Taking care of the components of the K-Cafe doesn't take much effort but should be done at regular intervals.
Drip Tray
The Drip Tray on the K-Cafe can hold up to 8 ounces of overflow. This needs to be emptied and cleaned occasionally.
To remove the Drip Tray, slide it toward you while keeping it level, and tip any overflow liquids down the sink. This can be cleaned in the top rack of a dishwasher, or by hand with a damp, soapy, lint-free, non-abrasive cloth.
Brewer Exterior
To keep the Keurig K-Cafe looking as good as the day you unboxed it, give its exterior a clean from time to time. This can be done easily and quickly with just a clean, damp, soapy, lint-free cloth.
Make sure this is a non-abrasive cloth. It should go without saying, but never immerse the brewer in water or any other liquids.
Water Reservoir and Reservoir Lid
The water reservoir lid and water reservoir can be placed in the top rack of a dishwasher to clean, or can be hand washed. To hand wash, use a damp, soapy, non-abrasive cloth.
Make sure you thoroughly rinse the reservoir after cleaning to remove any cleaning solutions or soap suds. You don't want these to contaminate the water supply on your next brew.
Do not dry the inside of the water reservoir with a cloth as lint may remain within the reservoir. After rinsing, fill the reservoir with clean water and reposition it on the brewer.
