Bedroom Transformation: Crafting an Earthy Luxe Retreat with Proxima B Paint

Transforming my bedroom into a luxurious, earthy retreat was all about finding the right balance of colors, textures, and materials. Using Proxima B paint from Tint Paint Australia, along with burnished gold accents and natural wood elements, I’ve created a space that feels both elegant and grounded.

Here’s how I did it.

Choosing Proxima B Paint for the Walls

I started by selecting Proxima B paint, a deep, muted green with grey undertones. It was the perfect choice for bringing a sense of nature and calm into the room while still maintaining a luxurious feel. The color has depth but doesn’t overwhelm, which allowed me to get creative with the other design elements.

Updating My Bed Frame

I’ve had a black metal bed frame for years, but I wanted to soften the look. So, I spray-painted it in burnished gold, which pairs beautifully with the green walls. The gold gives the bed a more refined and elegant feel without being too flashy, creating a great balance against the earthy tones.

Layering with Textiles

I added soft, earthy textiles to complete the look—beige linen bedding, olive green throw pillows, and some rust-colored accents. These natural tones really brought the room together, giving it a warm, inviting feel. A mix of materials like velvet and linen added the perfect cozy, luxe touch.

Styling the Space with Natural Elements

To finish off the room, I incorporated plants, wooden frames, and woven baskets. A few potted plants and trailing vines brought in some fresh greenery that contrasts nicely with the deep green walls. The natural elements help to create a calm, grounded space that feels earthy and serene.

By choosing the right palette and adding in some thoughtful details, I’ve transformed my bedroom into a space that feels both luxurious and down-to-earth. Now, it’s the perfect retreat for relaxation.
